Preview: The CIF moved the match to Southwestern College; it was originally scheduled for USD. Torrey Pines has won three matches in a row and is ranked No. 7 in California by MaxPreps.com. The Falcons were tested in the semifinals, beating Francis Parker in five sets and winning 15-11 in the decider. … Cathedral Catholic, the defending Open Division champion, beat Torrey Pines in last season’s championship match. The Dons are ranked No. 4 in the state, No. 14 in the nation and have won 18 matches in a row, including a 3-0 win over Torrey Pines in September…”
