City Conference member and #3 seed Lincoln Hornets advance to the D-I CIF Championship game by earning victories against #6 Eastlake and #2 Madison. The Hive will take on the #1 seed Grossmont powerhouse Helix Highlanders. Helix is again in championship form by beating #9 Grossmont and #4 El Camino. This is only the second time that these two schools will face each other on the grid-iron. Both teams offenses are firing on all cylinders with defenses that make mistakes happen.
